My Allin ancestors were traced back to 18th century England beginning with Richard Allin. They came to Canada in the mid 1800's. Later some moved to Ohio. My Great-grandfather (picture) came to Prince George, Virginia USA about 1900. The link to the Allin's above my 2nd Great-grandfather to the earlier ancestors was lost by me.

Family stories told to me by my father indicate that our ancestor was of Scottish decent and lived in Pennsylvania in the 1800's.He was married to a Native American. My Grandfather Hunter lived in Isle of Wight, Virginia USA when I knew him. His first wife was Irish. She died in the flu epidemic about 1919.

Our Wiseman ancestor was born in Hanover, Germany and came to City Point, Virginia USA in 1840.
